Haute Rouleurs Winter Warmer - Sunday 29th October 2017

WHERE: The Woodford Centre, Chester Road, Woodford, Cheshire. SK7 1PS.

Now in it's fourth year, this end of season event sees riders heading out on a route which takes in many quiet Cheshire lanes. It’s nice and flat and the 63 mile distance isn't too long so you can stretch your legs or simply have a social ride out with friends.

From 2017 the Winter Warmer organisation will be taken over by Haute Rouleurs.

At Polocini we have many fantastic memories from all of the events that we have organised but the time has come to focus on our Cycling Tours. We look forward to watching the events go from strength to strength as the team at Haute Rouleurs will be introducing a motorbike escort service, a mechanic on route, downloadable GPS maps of each route, a strava group exclusive to each sportive and prizes for certain segments/overall times. Coaching staff will also be on hand should you wish to ask for any advice on training, recovery or nutrition.

Pre and post ride food from Masterchef finalist Jackie Kearney of The Hungry Gecko is still included with event entry.

Last years route can be found HERE. There will be a few small route tweaks now the new A556 road is open. This will improve the route and the website will be updated as soon as they are finalised.

The final route gpx files will be updated on the Saturday afternoon before the ride once final checks of the route have been made. The files are used purely as a guide and you should always follow the route arrows.

EVENT H.Q: The Woodford Centre, Chester Road, Woodford,Cheshire. SK7 1PS.

REGISTRATION: Opens at 8:15 and riders leave from 9:15am. You will receive a number-board to attach to your cycle. Registration is a fast, simple process.

Riders will leave every two minutes in groups of twenty from 09:15. Because the event is organised to British Cycling rules we are not allowed to do a mass start.

FOOD: The fantastic Jackie Kearney (master chef finalist) from The Hungry Gecko is on catering duites. Included in the entry fee we have pre ride porridge and a post ride meal plus tea and coffee. Please let us know if you require a vegetarian meal.

FACILITIES AND PARKING: Parking is on a first come basis. The car park at Woodford holds 150 cars. There is a large field which can be used for extra parking although if it’s wet then we strongly recommend that once the car park is full that riders park outside the venue on the main road. If you live within ten miles of the HQ you really should be riding in!!! There are no changing facilities at Woodford except for standard toilet cubicles.

THE CAR PARK WILL BE CLOSED FROM 9AM UNTIL ALL RIDERS HAVE LEFT THE VENUE. Once the car park is closed riders can assemble in the entry area ready for a start at 09:15.

FEED STATIONS: Our feed station can be found at the halfway point of the ride and is stocked with water, flapjacks, bananas and a few other snacks.

RULES: This event is organised using British Cycling guidelines. Details can be found HERE.
